Please speak to any of our staff if you are thinking of getting a new puppy or kitten. We can help you through the whole process, including microchipping, worming, dietary advice and insurance for those unexpected problems. We offer early-finish puppy vaccinations which enable you to start socialisation as soon as 10 weeks old.

Day Patients

Both our cattery and kennel room are kept at a constant temperature by underfloor heating, to keep patients comfortable and snug. We offer food and water to every animal as soon as he or she has recovered from anaesthetic; particularly important because most cats and dogs will not have eaten for 12 hours before surgery. Most importantly, we always give our day patients lots of fuss and attention to make them feel at home.

Although any anaesthetic carries a risk, there are many ways we minimise this. These include close monitoring of heart-rate, by our team of experienced trained nurses. We also ensure all animals remain warm throughout their operation, using heated tables, pads and bedding: this minimises heat loss. Monitoring after surgery is also vital. With the modern drugs we use, risks are very low. Our most recent clinical audit revealed a 100% survival rate in 100s of patients, despite the fact that many were elderly or sick pets.
